Digital Leap and Flicker saw an opportunity to merge and did just that. Flicker Leap was born.Roles and Responsibilities:* Here I moved into a more senior developer role. We started using Laravel and Vue.js as part of our tech stack.* We did Magento work for clients, but this was more headache than it was worth and stopped doing Magento development.* We still have a project in CakePHP 2 being maintained, but no new development is being done on it. This project is being migrated to Laravel and Nova.* Also still have a CakePHP 3 project, just being maintained, with no new active development.* We are currently using Laravel to build JSON APIs for most of our projects and also create APIs for our existing legacy projects to try to move them from their legacy codebase.Notable Integrations:We built an integration between WooCommerce and Palladium for one of our clients. The integration updates stock and pricing on WooCommerce from Palladium on an hourly basis for 3 different stores, as well as pushes orders from WooCommerce to Palladium by means of some web-hooks.We created an online platform that simplified and automated most of our clients day to day work between consultants and their clients. We created a portal built in Vue.js where consultants can digitally on-board new clients, upload documents, digitally sign documents. An admin built using Laravel and Nova, where admins can approve client FICA documents and signed documents. And a client portal where clients can view the status of their applications as well as sign documents.

I started working on WordPress websites. Initially only creating child themes and configuring them according to client needs and Corporate Identity. As I started learning more and more about WordPress, I started diving deeper and get more involved on a code level each project. Writing custom functions in the functions.PHP file and eventually custom plugin development.I was also introduced to Magento.After roughly 2 years of WordPress development, the bespoke department had an opening for a junior developer. I immediately accepted the challenge. Here I started learning and working with CakePHP 2 (arrays became your friend) and eventually CakePHP 3.
