In addition to Itinerary Team responsibilities, I helped to onboard new members, create the schedule, and manage the specialized Emergency Team that handled on-tour emergencies throughout the year, ensuring all educators and travelers were fully supported while on tour. We were responsible for taking emergency calls, often in the middle of the night, to solve issues quickly and efficiently, with a high degree of empathy and diplomacy, while collaborating with various international teams.

I consulted on and customized international education-based travel itineraries for clients using expert destination knowledge and research to tailor tours to their specific needs. I helped to strengthen relationships by working directly with our Sales Team and the client to ensure that what they wanted was feasible and completed to their expectations. I acted as team expert on tours to multiple destinations, our Service Learning tour portfolio, and all French-language tours as the only bilingual member of the team. Maintaining an expert level of product knowledge, we acted as a resource for Sales and Customer Service staff, while also running trainings for new hires and aiding in product presentations to clients and staff alike. Our team operated as a central hub in the organization as we communicated and collaborated with multiple internal teams in order to ensure the best quality product for the client: various international Operations Teams, Finance Team, and Flights Team regarding logistical details of the tours; the Sales Teams to ensure accurate flow of information to and from teachers; and the Customer Service Team to clarify questions and concerns from students and parents.We tracked and analyzed data to monitor trends in travel and client feedback, resulting in consistent customer satisfaction and higher NPS scores. We helped to design new travel programs and activity ideas based on our findings and research, all with the end goal of improving the customer experience. During this time, I was chosen for multiple career development opportunities, including engaging with potential customers at conferences, running a training tour for teachers in Paris, presenting to international Operations Teams in Panama and Switzerland, and being a member of the EF team on the ground at D-Day 75 in Normandy, France.
