Advising nonprofits and public sector agencies through program development, strategic planning and implementation, technical assistance and capacity building. Clients include the Corporate Coalition of Chicago (launching a fair chance hiring initiative among Chicago-based businesses), Fair and Just Prosecution (criminal justice non-profit), Michigan Community Service Commission (state agency dedicated to CSR / corporate volunteerism), and UPLAND (strategy and innovation consulting firm).

Civic Consulting Alliance is a social impact consulting firm that works with foundations, non-profits and public sector clients in Chicago. As a Principal in the firm, I had the opportunity to design and lead projects and teams in the economic development and public safety spaces, while also leading our recruiting efforts.

In Deloitte’s Strategy practice, I specialized in developing and implementing recommendations related to customer experience, marketing, sales, and growth strategies for clients in the consumer product goods and technology sectors, while also leading internal initiatives focused on social impact.

In EY’s Strategy group, I supported marketing initiatives, operating model redesigns, and program development and execution in the automotive / transportation space, as well as customer experience strategy development, communications planning and change management for professional services firms.

Between my two years in business school, I interned at P&G for three months on the brand marketing team for their liquid dish soap products. I delivered four projects over this period, including supporting a new SKU launch (with distribution strategy and artwork over-haul) and delivering a merchandising plan for P&G dish soap brands at food retailers.

Accion is a global microfinance non-profit with an impact investing arm, an action-oriented think tank called the Center for Financial Inclusion, and the seat for the Financial Inclusion Equity Council, an industry association of impact investors in the financial inclusion / microfinance space. During my time at Accion, I had the opportunity to engage with all three of these facets of the organization and am passionate about small businesses to this day, in particular their growth strategies, access to capital, and technical assistance / support services.

As an analyst in Morgan Stanley’s credit research department, I analyzed debt-funded deals that the bank was considering in the healthcare, defense and technology space to understand the risk associated with the transaction. I performed research and due diligence and built financial forecasts for these transactions, in partnership with investment banking deal teams and trading staff.
