The non-profit organisation COMPASS was founded by a group of academic students and staff who aim to promote mental health, and raise awareness of neurodiversity among scholars in Switzerland. Our goal is to empower students to thrive in their academic pursuits while simultaneously maintaining a healthy mindset.

The association Dance For Parkinson's Switzerland has the goal of using dance (based on classical ballet) to provide people with Parkinson's disease of all ages and disease levels with a leisure activity to increase and improve their quality of life. By consciously choosing a cultural and creative environment of a professional dance school, the participants are given the opportunity to take a break from everyday life with a disease and to integrate socially in a non-medical environment. The experience of dancing as a combination of mental and physical-creative activity and the resulting reduction of symptomatic disturbance should be made tangible.

I support ARTIDIS in communicative, administrative, organizational, and personnel matters. I work closely with the CEO, the Head of PR & Communication as well as the HR & Admin team on internal and external communication tasks, improving procedures, coordinating cooperation, preparing information, revising documents and other tasks. Having built the administration and HR department from scratch, my tasks shifted over time more towards communication and PR support. In a fast-growing company like ARTIDIS, it is necessary to remain forward-looking and keep pace with new developments by constantly adapting to new tasks.In an international start-up company like ARTIDIS, my atypical career path is my greatest asset. As a Ph.D. in sinology and business administration, I am used to finding my way in unpredictable situations and I enjoy observing how people from different cultures make contacts, negotiate, communicate, and solve problems. My work at the Biozentrum of the University of Basel also allows me to work as an Administrative Assistant to two Professors of Structural Biology and Biophysics in an international team of scientists. The Biozentrum is where the ARTIDIS start-up was born, and I was able to follow and accompany its development from research to the founding of the company and beyond. My interest in intercultural management has served my career well and will continue to do so while working with the multicultural teams of ARTIDIS and the Biozentrum of the University of Basel in a truly international environment.

Development of the service, training and information centre "Europe Asia Service Trier" (EAST) at the University of Trier, Germany, as a bridging head between academia and practice:Main responsibility for the Chinese side of the project "Intercultural Competencies for the East Asian Economic Area - Development of a multimedia distance learning course at the University of Trier for business people who want to prepare for the Chinese or Japanese market".--> Concept development, selection, revision & supervision of the specialist authors (proven experts) for the teaching materials of the distance learning course and processing of the study material on the subjects of Chinese economy, politics, law and culture--> Concept development, implementation and moderation of the classroom training phases with the authors as a supplement to the distance learning phases. --> PR work in cooperation with an advertising agency--> Cooperation with the multimedia experts who designed and technically implemented the distance learning course
