I now work in a residential house with 10 developmentally disabled individuals and several other staff. The work is extremely exciting and challenging while a lot of them have very difficult negative behaviors. I have had several years of experience in this field and feel this is the right fit for me in this time in my life. Provided in-home care for families by watching their children while the parents are gone. All children, both typical and non-typical in the household, can be looked after. Assisted with classroom needs and activities and with care for the children. In the kitchen, I acted as "go-fer" and transported food to classrooms.
