I started my career at Deloitte in progressively senior audit management roles, where I worked on engagements varying in size and complexity for healthcare organizations, insurance companies, nonprofits, and public companies in our Jacksonville, FL office.After taking a break to care for my growing family, I became heavily involved in the Junior League of Montclair-Newark, Inc. Inspired by their commitment to women's leadership development and community work, I chaired numerous committees and held numerous executive and board leadership roles throughout my 15+ year tenure.Some of the highlights of my work with the Junior League of Montclair-Newark included:Launching and overseeing the Walnut Street Fair, now a tentpole event that brings in over 10,000 visitors.Heading up a large scale bottled water drive for the residents of Newark, NJ during the Newark Water Crisis.Forging new community partnerships to collaborate together within focus areas of foster care and youth homelessness.Building on my core accounting foundation, I approach outreach and development challenges from a financial lens, always looking for ways to streamline, standardize, and create visibility around goal-aligned metrics to move the needle.I'm in the process of reinstating my CPA credentials to be able to bring a more unique combination of traditional accounting with client/partner facing expertise to my next role.
