I am responsible for assessing the educational needs of each client entering the Center for Women and Children, helping them develop educational goals, needs and plans to accomplish these needs.I work with other staff members to determine clients’ needs and abilities and meet regularly with Case Managers to discuss client progress.I maintain a file on each client in the program to monitor their educational progress, attendance and personal achievements.I maintain and develop the program structure, revising curriculum as needed in cooperation with the Center for Women and Children Director and Program Director.I implement curriculum through individual and small group sessions.I train volunteers for the various phases of the program. She will make the appropriate assignments and provide each volunteer with a schedule of volunteer times.I supervise and monitor volunteers that tutor and teach classes to ensure they are in working in accordance with the program framework.I assist with the research and information for grants for the Educational Department and ensure compliance with grant guidelines.I prepare reports and send these to the Director of the Center for Women and other staff.I attend all staff meetings, meet regularly with the Center for Women and Children Director and support the Center Director and Assistant Director with all staff and residents.
