I am a freelance orchestral musician in the DMV area specializing in flute, piccolo, and alto flute performance. I am a small business owner of the Baltimore Music Box, a music instrument and equipment lending library and digital audio workspace that will serve as a shared resource for creative communities.I have organized concerts in the Baltimore music scene for the past decade. As co-organizer for the Baltimore chapter of Classical Revolution I have produced over one hundred free performances in non-traditional venues like bars, cafes, and public spaces. In 2015 I produced a salon music series pairing six local composers' works at six unique venues throughout the city. Since 2017 I've been performing and organizing concert experiences for my chamber ensemble, Pique Collective. We are sound makers focusing on original compositions and works by living composers, oftentimes pairing our programs with unique local collaborations. I manage our social media and newsletter communications in addition to managing general operations for the ensemble. I also perform with the local arts collective, Mind on Fire. I have served as the elected communications chair for my community association since 2019. Over the pandemic, I helped transition our board to the virtual worlds of Zoom and GSuite. I coordinate communication between the board, community, and For the past two summers, I've co-organized a free community concert series called Arts in the Park which bring local performers to various community green spaces in three neighboring communities that have traditionally been redlined. In 2022 I joined the musician cooperative Groupmuse as a musician-owner and musician-council member with a focus on activating the Groupmuse scene in the Baltimore area.I have experience in the sales and service industries, most recently as a dispensary agent and inventory manager for a medical cannbis facility. I am an autonomous worker, I enjoy making my own schedule and juggling multiple projects simultaneously. I love learning new technologies and improving organizational systems that improve communication, operations, and data collection.
