Parc Provence is an assisted living community for seniors suffering from dementia. I worked around 25 hours a week assisting with the daily activities of the middle to low functioning residents. This included:• Preparing and serving meals specific to each resident’s dietary needs and preferences• Knowing each resident’s background information and often interacting with their family members• Directing group and one-on-one activities designed to trigger memories through sight, sound, and touch• Working closely with nurses and CNAs to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents• Coaching residents throughout the day in any area they may be struggling
