I was responsible for the employement relations and recruitment of engineers, designers, drafters and detailers in the Energy, Power Distribution, Power Delivery, Oil and Gas, Renewables, Nuclear, Water/Wastewater, and Process & Industrial fields. I primarily work with candidates that have a skill base in Piping and Mechanical Engineering.

Responsible for various Recruitment processes including tracking potential candidates’ data, assisting with all aspects of the recruiting and hiring process, assisting with various Human Resources projects and processes. Functions of this position include, but are not limited to: implementing and managing an applicant tracking system; conducting pre-screens, reference checks, and job history checks; managing the employment section of KidsTLC’s website; coordinating and scheduling interviews; assisting with monthly New Hire Orientation; conducting research for recruitment advertisement sites, job fairs, and city events for recruiting purposes; developing job postings; and other responsibilities related to recruitment at TLC.

For most of these clients I was making all of the hiring decisions.
