Words are powerful, and I like to wield them to create connection. But it wasn't always that way. I had big dreams of becoming a doctor when I entered college.It didn't take long for those dreams to crash and burn in a physics lab. I really wanted to fall in love with science, but I knew I needed to pivot to something that felt more natural to me. I started to think of the things I loved and immediately my love of stories came to mind. I have been in love with storytelling since I was a child and spent most of my childhood with my head buried in a book or creating my own. It didn't take long for me to switch from chemistry to a technical writing degree. I fell in love with learning how to write content that catered to the audience and how to break down complex information into digestible content. I didn't stop there and went on to pursue a digital writing degree, where I learned about content strategy, content design, information architecture, user experience, and the beginning stages of social media marketing. Since it's been my mission to use my storytelling and content creation knowledge to bridge the gap between brands and their audiences, whether that's taking complex information and breaking it down into digestible content or assisting brands in telling their story to make them more relatable to their audience.
