I'm Steph—a UX engineer who loves to figure things out and help them make sense. I worked as a technical writer for many years explaining software that was difficult and frustrating to use. I trained to become a UX engineer to mitigate problems before they happen. My super power is talking to users—discovering and understanding their problems to figure out what they're asking for and what they actually need. I'm great with low-fidelity mockups and running with existing high fidelity ones. I'm working hard to improve my high-fidelity skills. There are better graphics people out there. But you won't find anyone better than me at engaging with users and developers; figuring out solutions that are based in fact; and finding a common ground that works for the most stakeholders.
