As a Senior Data Analyst, I provide data-driven recommendations to clinical care teams and the executive leadership team to improve operational, clinical, and business operations. Healthcare is shifting to value-based care and in order to achieve this, the use of data is essential to connect care pathways, identify complex care needs, and reinforce collaboration between providers. I create analytical tools to provide actionable insights that are designed to achieve optimal outcomes and to focus on clinical and business KPIs. One of the most valuable tools created, merges claims, clinical, and program data to create a cross walk for high-risk and high utilization clients that supports case conferencing between providers and to focus efforts to decrease the total cost of care. In addition, I design and deliver data presentations to internal leadership and external stakeholders that informs on productivity, clinical intervention outcomes, and quality measure performance trends. Riverside's behavioral health and human service programs support the highest need populations across the Commonwealth and are dedicated to continuous quality improvement for persons served. Working in the center of the hub between divisions and departments, I have the privilege of working on cross-functional teams and supporting efforts to optimize the delivery of services and Riverside's non-profit business model. My professional career has been filled with diverse experiences that have allowed me to acquire valuable skills while embracing new challenges. I worked in the service industry for many years and enjoyed working with people to improve their physical and mental health. In my role as an analyst, I do not provide direct care, but I know that my work supports the people who do and the information we learn from data analysis leads to decisions that ultimately improve the services provided. I am a seasoned multi-tasker, extremely organized, and love my systems that keep all the wheels moving forward on the data train.
