Stephanie Workman currently serves as the Military and Veteran Outreach Coordinator at The Carle Foundation Hospital where she focuses on identifying military and veteran talent to aid in workforce recruitment, training, transition assistance, and professional development. In this position, she has proven experience in establishing and cultivating relationships to create and maintain high yielding talent pipelines into the fields of nursing and other clinical areas in a vertically integrated health system serving East-Central Illinois and far Western Indiana.

Stephanie currently serves as the Social Media Coordinator for Family of a Vet, Inc. where she develops marketing, public relations & communications strategies, as well as contributes to their organizational operations. Develop partnerships with the Veteran's Administration and other Mental Health organizations around the United States and Internationally. Directly manages communications activities which promotes, enhances, and protects our organizational reputation. Responsible for the development, integration, and implementation of a broad range of marketing and public relations activities relative to their strategic direction. Creates varied and integrated marketing and communications products and services including: newsletters and other print publications; web, e-news and other online communications; media and public relations. Develops and implements national social media strategies across multiple platforms. Develops the education and training curriculum used for community outreach and education. Continues to serve on the Board of Directors.

Stephanie created, implemented, coordinated, monitored, and evaluated the Zoo's Ecological and Conservation Educational Programs and related curriculum for Zoo visitors and special groups to include schools, STEM based clubs, scouting programs, 4 H clubs, home school groups, etc while managing a 100+ composite staff of employees and volunteers in which she directly recruited, trained, and managed their professional development. During her time with the Zoo she acquired her Conservation Education Certification from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.

Stephanie utilized a variety of native plant materials and trees to stabilize stream banks and improve storm water drainage within the City of Topeka watershed area. She acquired her State of Kansas Pesticide Applicator's License.

Stephanie planted and maintained a variety of tree species along the interstate system in the City of Topeka. She acquired her Arborist Certification from the Kansas Arborist Association.
