Argyle Diamond Mine was a remote mine site located in the Kimberley region of WA, the largest diamond producer in the world by volume and ceased operations in November 2020.. As an operator/maintainer it was my role to prioritize the safe maintenance and repairs which enable the continuous operation of aging plant assets.• Identify required work and efficiently allocate daily work orders to crews.• Ensure required work is completed on time, safely and to a high standard.• Facilitate the maintenance and repair of lube oil and fuel delivery systems, oil centrifuge systems, pumps, and other associated fixed plant equipment. • Maintenance of auxiliary equipment and raw water delivery systems for the Power Station including compressors, diesel generating sets and main pumping stations.• Successfully manage day-to-day work orders, facilitate documentation requirements, coordinate team activities, and oversee completion of work, safely and to a high standard. • Effectively manage groups of contractors and run multiple projects associated with the power station and the water system.• Operate and maintain 130 m3/Hr MEMTEC water treatment plant.
