Initially hired to turn around brand standing of Sierra Designs. Worked with a small team to bring new products and energy to once iconic brand that resulted in significant growth and brand presence.Got moved across the hall to bring similar energy and creativity to Kelty, and helped inspire a larger team to seek creative solutions while maintaining core sense of brand history of product innovation.

Worked to bring a unique perspective to brand DNA, product and marketing strategies and emerging product concepts, for clients that contracted for our services. I led brand and product strategy review, product design and development process and helped craft go-to-market strategy for several clients, including Thule and Poler Outdoor Stuff. Also served as Sales Manager for the America’s for ABS Avalanche Airbag Systems, re-energizing the sales force and more than tripling sales in one year as well as securing contracts with 5 new ski areas to be exclusive supplier of airbag packs for the ski patrol.

Tasked to help rebuild technical reputation of brand through innovative equipment launch for Spring 2013. Worked closely with Design Team to bring this direction to life and we created more equipment excitement at TNF than in recent years! Accompanied all territory reps on the road to bring this renewed enthusiasm to retailers. Authored a long term company strategy for equipment product introductions, developing an innovation and launch cadence through to Spring 2015 that created a logical product introduction flow.

Responsible for overall product line management process, identifying and outlining future business opportunities and product concepts, assigning to proper seasonality, creating design briefs and managing design/prototype/sampling process, product testing and timeline. Led the Cortez based Quality Assurance Team to ensure best possible product to market. Led the factory management process, until Osprey hired an Operations Manager (based in Vietnam) to better facilitate this process locally. Osprey grew more than 10 fold during my time, led by highly innovative products to fit identified market needs and energetic management and sales teams and created the springboard for the astronomical success of the past decade.

Led a small sales agency, representing Osprey, Montrail, Trango, Stonewear, Adventure Med Kits, G3 and Garmont(tele). Through high energy, creative programs and great follow-through, I helped each brand rise in stature and sales during my tenure.
