As the City Manager at City of Hughes Springs, I oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the municipal government, with a focus on problem solving and team motivation. I have a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Texas A&M University-Texarkana, and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University of Texas at Tyler. Before joining the city, I worked as a School Administrator at Jefferson ISD and Hughes Springs ISD. I have over 15 years of experience in public service and education, and I am skilled in job postings, budgeting, policy development, and community engagement. My core competencies include leadership, communication, collaboration, and innovation. My mission is to serve the citizens of Hughes Springs with integrity, transparency, and accountability, and to foster a positive and productive work environment for the city staff. I am passionate about improving the quality of life and education for the residents of Hughes Springs and the surrounding areas.
