I am retired from a career working in children and youth serving organizations. I currently volunteer as a member of the Santa Clara County Juvenile Justice Commission and engage in some consulting work.I have extensive experience at the executive management level, in local government and the non-profit sector. A large part of my career has been focused on building and enhancing services aimed at changing the lives of at-risk children and youth. During my last ten years of government service I served as Division Director of Children, Family and Community Services in Santa Clara County's Department of Alcohol and Drug Services, where I also served as Compliance and Privacy Officer for the its system of care within the department and contracted services. I retired in 2012, but remained passionate about helping bring positive change and joined the Juvenile Justice Commission. In 2014 I joined the board of directors of the Bill Wilson Center. This evolved into my coming out of retirement, for a couple years and joining BWC as their Director of Behavioral Health Integration.
