Responsible for all design, financial, progress, legal / planning & construction matters from inception through to energisation, leading a team of electrical, civil & mechanical field engineers. The works included the following :-• Three off 380/115/13.8kV transmission substations each consisting of 5 bays of 380kV breaker and a half GIS, 15 bays of 115kV double busbar GIS, two 500MVA 380/115/13.8kV auto-transformers & all associated civil, primary, mechanical, secondary & SCADA equipments.• Two off 230/34.5kV transmission substations each consisting of 24 bays of 230kV double busbar GIS, 16 bays of 34.5kV Metalclad switchgear, two 133MVA 230/34.5kV transformers & all associated civil, primary, mechanical, secondary & SCADA equipments. • Six off 115/34.5kV transmission substation each consisting of 22 bays of 115kV double busbar GIS, 16 bays of 34.5kV Metalclad switchgear, two 133MVA 115/34.5kV transformers & all associated civil, primary, mechanical, secondary & SCADA equipments.• Five off 34.5kV switching stations each consisting of 16 bays of 34.5kV Metalclad switchgear & all associated civil, primary, mechanical, secondary & SCADA equipments.• 48kM route length of new 380kV transmission lines, 27kM of new 230kV transmission lines, 30kM of new 115kV XLPE cable & 40kM of new 34.5kV XLPE cable• Modification of existing 380kV & 230kV overhead lines to increase ground clearances, installation of 33 replacement towers, 22 monopoles & all associated line accessories.

Responsible for all financial and technical aspects of the project from concept through to commissioning, with a total project value of £18 Million• Geelong 220/66kV terminal station : Staged re-configuration of an existing AIS terminal station comprising 11 bays of 220kV double busbar switchgear, a new 220/66kV transformer and 20 bays of 66kV double busbar switchgear together with all associated protection, control and SCADA systems. Responsible for all financial and technical aspects of the project from concept through to commissioning, with a total project value of £15 Million.• South Morang staged 500kV GIS refurbishment project replacing all seals and ancillary equipment on the old ABB switchgear using a specialised contractor.• Numerous smaller projects involving 500kV, 220kV and 66kV primary and secondary equipment replacement / upgrade works.

Project Manager / Commissioning Officer / Site Manager• Clients Project Manager & commissioning officer for the Creyke Beck (NGC) 400kV substation upgrade project including the replacement of all AIS 400kV disconnectors, earth switches, structures, primary fittings and busbars within the existing 10 bay substation.
