Led more than 1,200 personnel in four flying squadrons and one operations support squadron. Executed USAF’s largest flying hour program comprising over 58,000 sorties and over 86,000 flying hours.

Responsible for supervision of 75 T-6A Instructors executing USAF’s largest pilot training operation. Led squadron training and programming efficiency effort, increased production 10% while saving AF over $2.0 million. Earned 47 Operations Group Unit of the Year Award and 47th Flying Training Wing's nominations for: AFA Verne Orr Award; Air Education and Training Command Top Operations Squadron and Air Force Productivity Excellence Award.

Led aviation, ground and weapons safety programs for wing of 2,800 personnel flying three different airframes. Proactive safety program garnered the National Safety Councils second highest ground safety award, the Award of Merit.

Developed leading-edge technologies and capabilities to support combat operations. Led POTUS-directed joint effort to address difficult national security threat, fast tracked test development and testing and deployed weapons capability in just 7 months.

Led human resource evaluations, tracking and administrative support for two systems wings and a direct reporting group. Ensured accurate tracking of performance and feedback.

Coordinated logistical and operational planning of coalition air assets in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM and OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM. Provided interface between U.S. and Coalition commanders to support the deployment, sustainment and redeployment of country aviation assets and personnel. Aggressively coordinated air support and country clearances for Romanian operation to free hostages captured in Iraq ensuring all three hostages were successfully rescued.

Test pilot evaluating capability and airworthiness of unproven weapons systems on all models of the F-15- Executed Pratt and Whitney (PW) 220 and 229 engine upgrade test program. Extensive test experience flying F-15A-E edge of the envelope test missions in support of numerous programs to include: Joint Stand-off Weapon (JSOW), Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM), GBU-24 Laser Guided Bomb, F-15 Suite-5 Software Upgrades, Steel Eagle acoustic sensor, C-130 EngineInfrared Suppression System (EIRS) and multiple classified programs.

Completed 661 hours of academics and over 130 hours of in-flight training in: aircraft performance; flying qualities; systems flight test; data reduction; analysis and reporting; test and safety planning; and project management. Tested, evaluated and reported on developmental multi-spectral camera.

- Led flight operations and training for over 50 students and 12 IPs; awarded Flight Commander of the Quarter- Trained student pilots in flight operations including: visual maneuvering, instruments, close formation, tactical formation maneuvering, and low level. Graduated eight distinguished graduate student pilots.- Earned Commendable on instructor pilot check ride during 19th Air Force aircrew standardization and evaluation no-notice inspection.- Handpicked for T-38 Functional Check Flight pilot upgrade; one of only 8 qualified pilots in a wing of 345 IPs. Recovered crippled T-38 with major flight control failure, saved the Air Force a critical $3.8 million asset.- Handpicked to upgrade to Runway Supervisory Unit (RSU) instructor controller. Controlled Air Education and Training Command's (AETC) busiest T-38 traffic pattern, exceeding 100 takeoffs and landings per hour. Supervised solo student pilots in the traffic pattern and upgraded newRSU controllers.

- F-15E combat pilot, four-ship flight lead, and mission commander with over 130 combat hours in support of OPERATION NORTHERN WATCH.- Conducted challenging operational live fire test of AIM-9M-7 heat-seeking missile and a GBU-15 glide bomb in support of the Weapons System Evaluation Programs (WSEP).- Earned multiple weapon qualifications, one of only 6 crews qualified in both AGM-130 air-to-ground missile and GBU-15 glide bomb operations and tactics in the United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE).- Led flight to win squadron's Top Gun awards for 1st half of 1998 and the 48 Fighter Wing's Top Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground Flight honors in the Wing's Turkey Shoot competition.- Mission Commander for NATO and French exercises. Coordinated successful multi-national exercises which increased combat capability and strengthened relations with our foreign allies.- Conducted certification and acceptance training of over 70 aircrew members in preparation for inspections. Squadron and wing received Excellence Award during weapons inspection, lauded as, the best outfit seen in two years!- Co-authored joint close air support tactics section for the F-15E tactics manuals.- Scheduled training events for 70+ aircrew, while successfully managing a $30 million annual flying hour program.

- Completed 75 hours of flight training ranging from basic transition sorties to complex surface attack tactics scenarios.

- Competitively selected to attend Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT). Accomplished over 260 hours in T-37 and T-38 aircraft, graduated with fighter aircraft qualification. Trained with students and instructors from 12 other NATO countries.
