As a consultant, environmental engineer, and former researcher, I work thoughtfully with colleagues and communities to leave the world healthier and more sustainable than we found it. My past projects have focused on managing and mitigating the impacts of the water and waste infrastructure on the natural environment. During my dissertation, I evaluated the pilot performance of mainstream anaerobic wastewater treatment designed to maximize energy recovery and minimize operating costs for non-potable reuse. I seek innovative solutions to complex and emerging problems faced by stakeholders including public utilities, government regulators, and industry professionals. My work has been informed by three summers working with government and consulting environmental engineers on the road to graduate school, as well as collaborative research with industry and academia facilitated through the National Science Foundation’s Engineering Research Center for Reinventing the Nation’s Urban Water Infrastructure (ReNUWIt). Outside of my work I enjoy bringing people together through food, cooking, or quality conversation about anything from the big questions of life to where to find the best pizza in NYC. I love to learn, travel, and experience the wonder of the world and the people that inhabit it. An avid listener, I seek to distill key information, action items, or outstanding questions that need answering in team meetings.
