A tertiary educated IT professional with 25 years commercial experience in software development projects across a wide range of industries.Recent roles include Solution Architecture and Solution Design, having built these skills on a solid foundation of technical development expertise. I started my career as a qualified Software Engineer in the communications and defence industry working on real-time applications. I then moved into Analyst Programmer roles using Microsoft DNA and .NET platforms. With a natural aptitude I took on more senior development roles before moving into the business analysis space for many years. My expertise was then called upon to fill roles in architecture and design.Currently performing Solution Analyst work for Telstra Cyber Security as set out by ACSC Essential 8 guidelines. This covers Microsoft Office execution and other application hardening controls for end users.I have worked across industries and in different domains- Telstra Cyber Security- Telstra Energy- Telstra Fixed on nbn- ANZ in both the Asia Pacific and Commercial Australia business units- Consulting for Infosys and Oakton, performing BA roles at Telstra, ANZ, Australia Post and City West Water.- BAE Systems on anti-missile defense.- Ericsson on AXE systemsI am interested in roles where I can work with the business in eliciting and defining requirements for IT projects, lead design of solutions and support delivery to best achieve a successful outcome.
