Stephen A. Hester is an award-winning, experienced attorney with a focus on civil litigation. He brings nearly 15 years of experience to the firm’s Little Rock office, where he serves in an Of Counsel role. Stephen concentrates his practice in Insurance Defense Litigation, Business and Commercial Litigation and Business Transactions. As a litigator, Stephen has successfully represented individuals and businesses of all types including banks, manufacturing concerns, hospitals, architecture, engineering and other law firms and nursing homes. He has significant experience with litigated bankruptcy matters, complex class action litigation, securities litigation, shareholder derivative lawsuits, dissenters’ rights actions, director and officer liability, construction and anti-trust litigation. His business transactions practice has allowed him to work on real estate matters, commercial contracts, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.Stephen currently serves as one of two state delegates from the Arkansas Bar Association to the American Bar Association’s House of Delegates, the policy-making body for the American Bar Association. He has achieved an AV-Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and Mid-South SuperLawyers “Rising Star” accolades for six years.Outside of work, Stephen serves as a Den Leader for the Cub Scouts of America. He can be found doing most anything outdoors, including playing tennis and trout fishing. He and his wife have two children.
