I worked for a research grant funded by OCAST. We were researching the application of machine learning algorithms in generating heatsink geometries for natural convection. My responsibilities included performing heatsink experiments (recorded data using LabVIEW), 3D modeling (Solidworks), creating and running heat transfer simulations (Star CCM+), recording simulation setup workflow (MS Word), recording simulation properties and results (MS Excel), assisting graduate researcher as needed, and reporting weekly progress.

For this position, I worked in the Theatre Department's shop. My responsibilities included constructing and striking sets, general theatre and shop maintenance, aiding in lab student instruction, leading other students in construction / maintenance projects, and organizing theatre and shop inventories as needed.

I was one of two lab TAs for a single semester Thermodynamics lab course. My responsibilities included demonstrating and instructing in the completion of lab activities, taking student attendance, and aiding students with questions regarding lab reports.
