Studied Federal program: New Markets Tax Credits (NMTC) that consisted of analyzing allocations for privately managed investment institutions/Community Development Entities (CDE). Analyzed the Community Development Financial Institution Fund (CDFI) and contacted CDEs across the nation, as well as participated in meetings with bankers, local government officials, and lawyers within the firm.Examined the wind energy market and the amount of government stimulus money allocated to wind energy throughout the Midwest. Provided an Open Door Policy/Freedom of Information document generator designed to facilitate the creation of an official formatted letter. Received and organized copies of allocations from the states of Michigan, Ohio, Missouri, Illinois, and Minnesota.
