I am currently a PGCE Physics with Maths student at the University of Nottingham.I started in September 2013 following a week’s experience at Fairfield Primary Academy learning how my chosen subject areas are taught at KS1 and KS2 and how pupils are prepared for secondary education. This has been followed by a placement at The Samworth Church Academy in Mansfield and I am currently on my second placement at Catmose College in Oakham.Prior to my PGCE I worked in a sales role with ERF Electrical Wholesalers and I was at Nottingham Trent University where I obtained my 2.2 Physics (Bsc. Hons.) degree. I was also an active member of the university fencing team for which I was president in my final year.
