Valmont Coatings George Industries was chosen by The Boeing Company (previously McDonnel Douglas Aerospace) as the prime anodizer of the International Space Station. The contract required a highly specialized anodize to meet stringent optical requirements, exacting masking, chem film, penetrant inpsection, dry lube, electroless nickel and rigorous testing and inpection.Since the day we first began business, we've been an important vendor to military aircraft contractors. Like our other aerospace work, it often involves multiple processes for a given part number, chem film, mask, hard anodize, mil spec spray painting, and part number masking. All of which is performed under our roof and under the watchful eye of our QA department. For years, Valmont Coatings George Industries has been the vendor of choice to finish room-sized shipboard gun mounts and turrets for the United States Navy. All of the standard and custom colors are available in bright dip and etch (matte) finishes.Graphic Anodizing-Eternagraphics: A proprietary process that creates full color, photo-quality graphics in anodized aluminum and powder coated finishes. The graphics are as durable and corrosion resistant as the substrate on which it is applied. Marble Anodizing-Eternalum: A rich, elegant marble-like finish available in dozens of color combinations and distinctive patterns. Fade Anodizing: The blending of multiple colors. This process can be applied to complex shapes and is available in a large variety of custom colors.
