Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.Manage statutory deductions and remittances to authorities (PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, Pension) for Workpay’s employees and clients.Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned.Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.Assist with other accounting projects.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.Stay updated on accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.Assist in making periodic payments and reconciliations of the bank accounts.Assist support in checking the status of payments done via the systems and take any necessary action depending on received status.
