Stephen Schulte is an American Board Certified prosthetist and Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotist and Prosthetists. A native of Gwinnett County, GA, Stephen received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Coker College in South Carolina. Stephen continued his education at Northwestern University where he completed the Certificate Program for Prosthetics. After graduating from Northwestern, Stephen returned to Georgia and, alongside his wife Amne, opened the doors to Prosthetic Care, Inc. (ProCare), a patient- centric prosthetic practice.Stephen continued to serve his community as a on-site practitioner for the 1996 Paralympics and former board member of the Georgia Society of Orthotists and Prosthetists. In 2003, Stephen was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from Coker College. Stephen was also the first recipient of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetist Clinical Commitment Award.Since being founded in 1995, ProCare has grown to serve thousands of patients of all ages and levels of amputation across their six Georgia locations. Stephen works tirelessly to make ProCare a destination for our military service members, professional athletes, and unique fit cases. He currently sits on six professional committees and is the current co-chair of the Advisory Committee at Kennesaw State University’s prosthetics program. It is Stephen’s goal to continue to push the industry forward with contributions to new technology and techniques.
