After taking some time off, the start-up bug bit me. I have joined Melanie Shapiro in leading the start up of Case Wallet Inc., a company that is making a secure wallet for cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, as well as other potential uses. I was the Chief Technology Officer, but after deciding to run for office, I stepped out of management and onto the Board. I am still quite involved with the development of the Intellectual Property portfolio, especially with respect to patents, and I also help out with some of the advanced research.

Was founder of the company and designed and built all of the original underlying technology on which the company operated. Helped grow the company from 1 employee (me) to over 250 employees. Led the new product development and intellectual property efforts as well as being involved in the overall operation and management of the company.

Created systems level software for image array processors and capture systems at the Chester F Carlson Center for Imaging Science. Created user level image processing applications, both general purpose and for specific research efforts. Managed the computing operations at the Center growing the computing base from 2 computers serving a half-dozen users to hundreds of computers serving several hundreds of users.
