• I was one of four Leading Chief Petty Officers in charge of a portion of the Limited Duty Sailors at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.
• In this role I conducted daily musters, inspections, disciplinary, and administrative functions for a fluctuating pool of Limited Duty Sailors ranging from 50 to over 200.
• I ensured these Sailors attended all mandatory medical appointments and tracked their Limited Duty Status progress with the goal in mind of their either going back full duty status or taking the necessary steps to.
• While in this role I was directly involved in the planning and execution phases for transferring the Limited Duty Staff Offices to a new location within the hospital
• Participated in several agile process improvement meetings that were enacted to streamline the Limited Duty Process at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth.

Naval Medical Center Portsmouth

• Led 31 Sailors in the maintenance and technical support of the Naval Medical Center Portsmouth Unclassified enterprise-class network encompassing 10,000 devices and 8,700 users.
• Efforts resulted in the correction of over 500 trouble tickets and improved customer service operations supporting a myriad of vital medical IT systems and programs.
• As the Official Information Exchange System (OIX) Administrator reviewed and validated over 200 account access requests for official electronic message access
• Provided input to the revision of the NCMP Command Special Incident Reporting Instruction ensuring compliance with Department of the Navy requirements.

USS Carter Call

• Led 26 Sailors in all preparations for Navigation Certification, Aviation Certification, Engineering Light-Off Assessment, Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification and 2M Re-Certifications.
• My coordination and planning efforts resulted in the correction of multiple certification limiting equipment casualties.

Afloat Training Group Norfolk

• As a Master Training Specialist and Afloat Training Specialist was responsible training and inspecting shipboard Combat Systems Training Teams (CSTT) during Surface Warfare/Aviation Warfare (SW/AW) and Command.
• The training/inspections involved evaluating the CSTT program in place and tailoring training to facilitate the teams’ improvement thus enabling them to be certified to deploy.
• Trained shipboard personnel in proper Casualty Control Procedures to combat equipment casualties and class C fires.
• Trained 850 Sailors during multiple SW/AW and CCC missions during their basic phase certifications.

Afloat Training Group Norfolk

Recruited and trained 12 Sailors for the ATG CPO Color Guard. Coordinated all logistics and planning for 32 retirements, 5 commissioning, and 8 multi-cultural committee ceremonies.

• As Tactical Data Link LCPO led three Link Lab personnel in the daily operations of Fleet Training Tactical Data Links (TDL) for 415 SW/AW, Strike, CCC, BMD, and 22 Link MITE certification events.
• TDL tests were conducted with ships in port and underway
• The TDLs we tested were UHF/HF Link 11, Link 16 (SATCOM and UHF), UTJ, MTJ
• The communication circuits utilized were HF/UHF secure/unsecure
• Led in the installation of an AN/SA-2112 in the Link Lab which greatly increased Link Lab communications capabilities.
• Developed ATG Norfolk Link Lab Job Qualification Requirements (JQR) for Link Lab personnel.

USS Barry

• In this role I managed the maintenance responsibilities for the Combat Systems Department. This involved coordinating the preventive maintenance for 10 work centers, tracking maintenance completion, and ensuring that.
• Mentored and trained 10 work center supervisors prior to and during a command 3M assessment resulting in all Combat Systems Work Center earning certification.
• Managed the tag-out program for Combat System Department
• Tracked all work candidates in the OMMS-NG software for Combat Systems Department
• Maintained oversite on all entries into the SKED Preventive Maintenance tracking software prior to submission for Combat System Department.

USS Barry

• Coordinated and managed all preventive and corrective maintenance and system testing for 20 work centers.
• Tracked equipment casualties for 20 work centers and any associated ship generated Casualty Reports (CASREPS) sent off-ship for the Combat Systems and Weapons Departments.
• Supervision of Ship's Electronic Readiness Team (SERT) directly influenced a successful 2014 Aegis Light-Off.
• Inventoried over 900 Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and System Software CDs
• Set-up and installed the ship's Advance Technical Information System (ATIS) from start to finish on two computer systems.

• Managed Duty Section watch requirements for one of three duty sections.
• Led 109 Sailors in on duty days in the during daily attendance, cleaning evolutions, and assigned duty section personnel to various watches.\
• Drafted over 100 watch bills ensuring Anti-Terrorism Force Protection (ATFP) requirements were met for USS Barry.
• Tracked and coordinated training for all watch stander qualifications and ensuring that the required number of watch standers for each watch station were always available while standing duty.
• Ensured that duty section personnel conducted ATFP, Damage Control, First Aid, and on station watch training every duty day keeping the duty sections capabilities sharp and able to handle anything that should arise on.

USS Barry (DDG-52)

• Led 5 work centers consisting of 23 personnel in the corrective and preventive maintenance for all shipboard internal/external communications, inertial navigation, surface search, air search, and internal/external.
• Lead CE division through two Mediterranean deployments
• Coordinated all CE efforts in preparation for an Extended Dry-Docking Selected Restricted Availability (EDSRA) to include the stowing of all gear from 10 divisional spaces, coordination of 1,240 equipment lay-up.
• Led division through successful C5RA, CMAV, AVCERT, NAVCERT, 3M and 2M certifications events.

USS Barry

• As Command 2M Program Manager I managed and maintained the ship’s 2M program ensuring all repairs were documented and that cost savings accomplished by onboard 2M technicians were reported off-ship.
• As the primary MTR technician onboard conducted micro/miniature repairs that saved the Navy $253,067 in part cost avoidance.

Center For Surface Combat Systems Unit Great Lakes

• Administered Electronic Technician “A” and Fire Controlman “A” school Community of Practice (CoP) web pages.
• Managed discussion boards, Q&A panels, student opinion polls
• Migrated Computer Based Training curriculum to CoP to mitigate lost training time due to training server casualties saving 38,400 aggregate hours of lost training time and $729,000.

Center For Surface Combat Systems Unit Great Lakes

• Educated accession level Sailors in ET and FC “A” School Classrooms.
• Instructed hundreds of students in these courses of instruction.
• Students completed their schools with an overall GPA of 89%
• Efforts contributing significantly to a 75% reduction in training time, saving the Navy $2.3 Million dollars.

Training Support Center Great Lakes

• Led the TSC Rifle Team in the coordination, preparations, training, and execution of ceremonies for all requested events in the greater Chicago area.
• Recruited and trained 155 Sailors for the TSC Rifle Team.
• Coordinated all logistics, equipment, and personnel management for 89 performances in the greater Chicago area instilling a positive image of the Navy within the local community.
• Some of the places that the team performed were the Taste of Chicago celebration downtown, the 4th of July Parade in Chicago, the Bud Billiken Parade in South Chicago, numerous Boy Scout, and Special Olympic events.

Center For Surface Combat Systems Unit Great Lakes

• Maintained 12 AN/SPA-25G Radar Displays and conducted classroom and practical instruction in their use as well as the corrective and preventive maintenance for the displays for ET “A” school students.
• Ensured 540 students completed AN/SPA-25G Radar Display Lab with a student average of 89% and a 96% pass rate.
• Designed and implemented an Instructor Guide, created two practical tests, and a homework pack for students to utilize to enhance their learning.

Maritime Patrol And Reconnaissance Sea Operations Detachment Jacksonville

• As the authorized government purchase card holder for the command I managed all logistical responsibilities for MPRSEAOPDET Jacksonville
• Coordinated the movement of 20,800 pound $9.4 million C4I Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance equipment into the CENTCOM AOR.
• Procured $71,000 in consumables and repair parts for MPRSEAOPDET.

Maritime Patrol And Reconnaissance Sea Operations Detachment Jacksonville

• Responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance for an entire Tactical Mobile Communications Suite. This suite included a portable/collapsible SHF antenna with associated SHF broadband modem and.
• Conducted communications support for drug interdiction flight following for US/foreign Navies and US Coast Guard from El Salvador, Curacao, Puerto Rico, and Ecuador.
• Established and maintained mobile command center (all communications and IP services) for Task Force New Horizon humanitarian relief in Haiti with the Seabees.

• Performed all corrective and preventive maintenance for COMSUBGRU TENs Submarine Satellite Information Exchange System (SSIXS).
