- Oversaw the planning and successful implementation of a Requirements Compliance dashboard, a tool that summarizes and displays compliance for all JSA contractual requirements. This ultimately allows Leadership and Division management to understand both contractual and individual program compliance as well as verifies existence of processes, tools and personnel assignments to remain compliant over time. - Successfully revised multiple high-impact, lab-wide processes. Ensured that contractual requirements and Leadership expectations for improved process performance, timeliness and organization were properly balanced. Examples include Event Investigations, Program Assessments (both Self-Assessments and Independent Assessments) and the Equipment Calibration Program. The final step for each are metrics implementation to monitor performance and adjust resources or priorities as necessary. These processes remain in use and continue to perform to expectations.- Successfully developed and implemented Leadership level compliance and performance metrics. These metrics monitor critical processes and also identify and prioritize risks, allowing Senior Leaders to better understand drivers and thus prevent or resolve problems before propagation. - Led the planning, facilitation and on-time acceptance of over 30 PEMP Notable Outcomes. Implemented processes to collect data and inputs from a wide distribution of personnel and divisions, refining and ensuring alignment of the final products with PEMP expectations. - Led multiple peer review teams in evaluating Contractor Assurance System (CAS) implementation and efficacy at DOE Office of Science (SC) Laboratories. As the DOE-SC CAS Coordinator, I used this exposure to both improve JSA processes and distribute critical process details to colleagues at other National Laboratories via establishment of a working group.

- Structured and successfully implemented a metrics reporting system for USAF Air Mobility Command's HQ Administrative Team. System allowed for real-time feedback on process efficacy as well as performance versus goals and the status of related subtasks.- Led the development and successful implementation of Operational Performance metrics for Military Sealift Command (MSC). These metrics measured performance versus goals for multiple departments while also identifying critical factors and their weighted impact on objective achievement.

- Successfully planned and led the ISO 9001 registrations of two manufacturing locations as well as the ISO 17025 registration for a developing line of business. All were a minimum duration of 6 months and achieved ahead of schedule and under budget.- Planned and successfully implemented an offshore manufacturing strategy over a three-year period, leading to contracts with suppliers in China, India, Taiwan, France and Ireland. Ensured this effort was directly aligned with corporate cost reduction goals as well as high levels of quality and reliable delivery.- Planned and led the successful installation of corporate supplier quality guidelines, including a comprehensive Supplier Rating System and a cost-recovery process for defective material.

Williamsburg, Va

- Successfully coordinated the start-up Safety Review of a newly built Chemical Plant. Coordinated and prepared for OSHA visits with Subcontractors and Design Engineers; scheduled and verified proper installation of over 1,000 instruments, 100 pieces of equipment and 15 piping systems.- Implemented performance metrics for Plant Leadership, including on-site resources, schedule vs actual progress, and financial position vs plan.

Charleston, South Carolina Area

- Led a team of 12 in over 60 Visit, Board, Search and Seizure Operations of merchant vessels in the Adriatic Sea (Bosnia area) and Caribbean Sea (Haiti area). As Officer-in-Charge, ensured my sailors were properly trained, physically fit, briefed and prepared prior to each mission. Received two Navy Achievement Medals in four years of active duty service.
