Positioned between the business and IT I built and led a team consisting of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Report designer / developers, with the responsibility for implementing and managing the end to end delivery project capability for Barclays HRMI globally with annual budget of £25m.

Part of the largest IT transformation in Europe, I Joined the Royal Mail to create the strategy and implement a Business Intelligence Competency Centre (BICC) with a PMO being a key element. This included the implementation of enterprise information and governance framework to manage change through a portfolio of information projects, moving from a siloed based environment, to an Enterprise view over a 4 to 5 year period. From joining I built strong stakeholder relationships within the Royal Mail and have delivered several key projects along with the BICC Governance Methodology and Engagement Model. The development of the model took into account external relationships with key suppliers such as SAP and HP.

Managing a team of 100 plus, responsible for the overall delivery and governance of data warehouse and business intelligence projects across O2.

Managed a team of 40+ engineering staff delivering McAfee's Enterprise Email and Web Security product, whilst partnered with Dell, shipping our products on appliances running Red Hat Linux on Dell PowerEdge hardware. Managed suppliers from the USA, India an Australia.

Programme Management of a team of 120 plus team of near and off shore resources from the UK, Europe, USA, Taiwan and Korea delivering a leading edge blade server based upon a bespoke hardware, mechanical and software (using JAVA, and UNIX technologies). This was a high profile programme which required carefully management of key stakeholders at a senior level whilst maintaining management at operational levels. Programme value was £30M.

Overall project management responsibility for delivery of all for bluetooth projects for PSION Connect. Projects managed had an overall budget value of £6M. Managed suppliers from USA, India and UK.
