As a ScrumMaster, I led a cross functional team of Developers, analysts, and content writers to effectively adapt the Agile methodology to a customer support environment. Completing work within these defined time frames (Sprints), allowed for us to more effectively release code, content, and designs to support key initiatives and products across the Company. It also provided transparency within our team and helped create a collaborative work environment. My role included facilitating all Agile related functions including stand up, backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Retrospective, demos, and prioritization. Using Jira, I maintained a well organized backlog of stories and worked closely with Product Owners and Stakeholders to stay on top of the fast paced changes in priorities. Keeping the team on track of deadlines was my ability to work between other Departments and resolve any conflicts and remove any impediments as they arose. As a Project Manager I lead the development and deployment of new customer support video tutorials. Post launch I was responsible for establishing success metrics along with tracking and maintaining their effectiveness. Another Project I helped to lead was the creation, launch, and expansion of our new Customer Support Community (Forum). This included overseeing vendor development, establishing guidelines, setting up permissions and rules, and organizing email campaigns to increase membership. I was also tasked with the monumental job of planning and executing the move of our entire Department from one location to another within the building. This included working with multiple contacts within our organization to ensure there was no interruption in work during the transition.
