I have worked as a professional for the last 18 years. The military, business, sales and marketing, construction, federal law enforcement, and sports industries, have all shaped me into the strong leader and great communicator that I am today. I developed a strong work ethic and a self-starting attitude when I worked in sales. I was able to use that attitude and drive, to excel in the intelligence field during my five years of proud and honorable service in the United States Marine Corps. There I further developed excellent leadership skills, communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot. Through real-life experience, reading, and self-study, I have come to know and understand people very well.My work ethic, professionalism, leadership abilities, and attention to detail enabled me to lead my class in the position of section leader for the duration of the Border Patrol Academy. I was awarded the Luis A. Aguilar Leadership Award for my efforts there. I adjust quickly to leadership roles and I am willing to work outside of my comfort zone. I am confident working both alone and in a team environment. I can multitask and prioritize my work effectively. I have started and run businesses, as well as built and coached athletic teams. My well-rounded background makes me an ideal candidate for any company and the right position.
