I provided engineering solutions to manufacturing facilities to eliminate the buildup of combustible dust for NFPA compliance. Experienced in navigating various manufacturing operations and tailoring solutions to specific industries. Dust Hazard Analysis Leader Certified and worked with various facilities on the fundamentals of combustible dust and hazardous locations to implement a solution that created a safer working environment by reducing fire and explosion hazards.Managed turnkey solutions and was involved in every phase from initial conversations with prospects to overseeing installation and startup.Capable of providing solutions to a large area from managing business development and sales activities in VA, TN, NC, SC, GA, and FL.

I was the Aerodynamics Group Experimental Team Leader with a strong expertise in wind tunnel testing processes from 2,400+ hours of full-scale wind tunnel testing experience. Actively managed wind tunnel tests to run the items that best balanced the design schedule and tunnel time.Effective communication and experience with efficient wind tunnel tests led me to be the subject-matter expert and liaise with technical partnership team affiliations.The company had a 0% win rate at road courses from 2014 - 2017. I was tasked with managing the wind tunnel testing procedure and body build specifications for the road course cars which led to a 33% win rate in 2018, a 67% win rate in 2019, and a 100% win rate in 2020 using the data acquired from my managed program leading into a significant reduction of wind tunnel hours in 2020.

Was heavily involved in the Formula SAE program at Virginia Tech as the Aerodynamics Subteam Leader. This led to the school's first production of a full, carbon fiber aero package that included an undertray/diffuser, front wing, and rear wing. Our team utilized available CFD resources to test and decide on component geometry. We were able to RP model parts to test in Virginia Tech's Open Jet wind tunnel in order to study flow attachment along our wing profiles. Our team built the aero component molds and final pieces.

Worked with a PhD student studying transition detection on an airfoil using IR imagery in a wind tunnel for GE. This involved work on airfoils in Virginia Tech's Open Jet wind tunnel and Stability wind tunnel.
