Occasional consulting on SCREEN Semiconductor Equipment

Retired full time in the foot hills of the Kiamichi Mountains in SE Oklahoma

In this position, I am responsible for the installation and service of state of the art photo-lithography robotic coaters, developers, as well as scrubbers, used by various silicon chip manufacturers. My responsibilities include taking the Machines through Customer acceptance testing and sign off, as well as the training of the customer's process and equipment engineering groups on the equipment. I also provide OJT for other DNS field service employees. During my tenure at one specific account, DNS Electronics was awarded Vendor of the Year, for multiple years in a row.

I was responsible for recruiting and discharging of shop personnel, inventory control, equipment procurement, shipping and receiving, scheduling production work, employee relations, and E.S.H.

Evaluated office environments and proposed computer solutions to increase profitability and productivity. Assembled and installed the proposed equipment, which included training office personnel in the proper usage of programs and equipment, along with continual support and consulting.

My duties included: Providing technical support to Hardware Customer Engineers in the Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Angelo offices; planning and implementing installations and maintenance of the TNS I through the CYCLONE Processor Groups, and related peripherals; assisting Customer Engineers, Sales and Systems Personnel in pre-installation site planning, including physical layout of computer room, power requirements, proper environment, etc. Also accountable for the technical library, as well as disseminating technical information and documents to the C. E. Group; developing and conducting group and individual training sessions on specific equipment, and being frequently called upon to “trouble-shoot” and assist technical personnel outside of my district, were common occurrences.
