I am an experienced commercial real estate lawyer and deal with a broad range of high value and complex property matters. I have a particular specialism in the retail sector and providing advice to occupiers and landlords in order to maximise the value and utilisation of their real estate portfolios.I have been described as having a "pragmatic" approach and provide bespoke strategic advice and commercial solutions. Areas of expertise: Acquisitions and Disposals : Advising clients in connection with the sale and purchase of office, industrial, retail / leisure and mixed use premises for investment, development and occupational purposes. Asset Management : Acting on behalf of clients in relation to the full range of landlord and tenant transactions, including the grant of new tenancies, lease renewals and related management transactions. I also work closely with investor/developer clients in connection with redevelopment projects to increase the underlying asset value and the tenant management strategy to minimise rental voids.Corporate Occupier : Acting on behalf of corporate owners and occupiers with a view to realising the maximum use and value from their property portfolios. I have dealt with numerous office relocation projects, acquisitions of new sites, management matters in respect of existing premises and the disposal of excess space.Leisure / Retail : Providing an efficient service to clients operating in the leisure and retail sectors in relation to their store portfolios, including the roll-out and management of stores in high street and out of town locations, such as retail parks and factory outlet schemes. Property Finance : Advising banks and providers of finance as well as borrowers in connection with the provision of finance for the purchase (and refinancing) of real estate assets.Corporate Transactions : Advising listed and private companies in connection with the real estate aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions.
