I am graduating in December 2022 with one of the only degrees in the country that tailors the students towards agricultural proficiencies in an indoor environment, such as IPM, Nutrient deficiencies, environmental controls.I have taken 2 chemistry classes which help in calculating dosages for proper EC as well as PH management for a variety of hydroponic systems from NFTs, to aeroponic systems as well as deep water culture. My curriculum has also taught me environmental assets as well such as HVAC/R,(brazing/welding, as well as setting and reading 4 stage manifold gauge set for diagnosing HVAC systems), Mechanical electrical and plumbing which acquainted me with technical terms in the field for different types of pipes, valves and there composition as well as intended uses. I also took a coding class which gave me experience is JAVA,C+, as well as java script. In additon i also took a class in botany which goes into the details about the plants life cycle as well as the major systems in a plants biology. I also took an electricity class that goes into the fundamentals as well as how to set up and read a multimeter in a multitude of settings.
