As a freelance art director and brand designer I have worked with a bumper crop of clients and companies to introduce or re-introduce their brands to the world. I take a comprehensive and holistic view of any client that approaches me to translate what they are asking for into measurable, beautiful and productive results. Design beautiful user interfaces for eCommerce and restaurant websites. Designed elegant brand, Shopify site and packaging for a new cat litter brand.

As design director, I was responsible for launching multiple websites to meet our company's needs and provided the art direction as well as technical know-how to execute their successful deployments. Other responsibilities included mentoring junior employees, building relationships with key stakeholders and communicating with assorted vendors regarding photography or videography needs. Another important aspect of my time was to ensure printed artwork met exacting design principles for packaging artwork along with the rigours of designing for multiple languages.

My primary role as a senior designer was to work closely with our creative director and junior creatives to build e-commerce brands that would be beautiful and precise. A majority of the work was brand design for products like Urban Juve skincare, Jusu cold-pressed juices and skincare, Komo Comfort Foods and NeonMind Mushroom Coffee. The packaging for NeonMind Mushroom Coffee was selected for publication in Favourite Design 2021. We also created and supported creative for social media, eCommerce and digital advertising assets for all these brands as well.

Responsibilities included creating work that matched up with their recent rebrand from Mountain Equipment Co-op to MEC. That work included but was not limited to emails, website images, social media imagery along with store and event signage. I worked as member of a tight creative team, doing both design and production work on multiple projects at the same time.

Responsible for designing original creative work that included conceptualization, layouts, mock-ups and press file preparation. In addition, I managed projects, interacted with clients and worked collaboratively with coworkers.

Responsible for conceptualizing and desiging print and web collateralfor various clients including both corporate and personal creative work.

Responsible for designing print materials, brochures, posters, web ads, and downloadable wallpapers. Created all collateral for the Canucks for Kids Telethon. Introduced and helped execute the idea of a Facebook social media profile campaign for playoffs and helped to execute it. In its first iteration close to 10,000 fans used it. I was also responsible for other projects, meeting tight deadlines and creating quality work as an extension of the Canucks brand.
