Covering all products Microsoft in the work place including Office 365, meetings and voice, security and compliance, automation and insights, Windows 10 and Surface, my passion is to partner with and guide our customers in achieving their business outcomes through the use of technology.

Empowering New Zealand's largest commercial and public sector organisations through the use of Microsoft Surface devices and modern managed IT environments. I have assisted in many of our largest organisations' transitions to modern workplaces - utilising tools and technology that enables workers to become more mobile, agile, and collaborative. My aim is to transition your end users to Microsoft 365 powered Surface devices and show how you can give back 5 hours each week to your users through productivity savings.

My focus is to empower government and corporate customers in maximising workplace productivity through the power of our Surface family of devices. Whether it be Surface Pro, Surface Book, Surface Laptop, Surface Studio or Surface Hub, my role is to ensure Surface will flawlessly work within your organization's I.T environment.

Working in the public sector team at Microsoft, our mission is to empower government agencies to optimise their operations and deliver better public services to the New Zealand public.During my internship, my core areas of responsibility include:- Developing a new standard of account collaboration and strategic account planning, allowing the account team to better understand and engage with our customers and their ambitions - Developing a campaign of New Zealand Public Sector Cloud Readiness to drive awareness and adoption of Microsoft cloud services within wider public sector- Assisting in government engagements, particularly around central government contract negotiations and strategic alignment engagements - Assisting in driving and developing national strategy documents, compiling the impacts that Microsoft has on New Zealand society though our key strategic directions

I then moved on to become a community manager, tasked with looking after various retailer communities of in store Microsoft Advisors in addition to technical evangelism. This includes: - Conducting online training sessions for various retail chains with groups of up to 20.- Content creation for use in group training sessions.- Content localisation for New Zealand market. - Classroom training sessions of groups of up to 60. - Managing social enterprise network interactions on Yammer, posting daily and weekly content updates.- Interacting with various areas of retail including management and senior management.

This is a technical evangelist which shifted its focus to retailer training. The position involved: - Visiting various retail stores across the Wellington and Upper South Island regions, training retail sales professionals in all areas of Microsoft products and services. These areas include; Windows, Office, Surface and Xbox. Training usually involves either one on one individual sessions or classroom training with groups up to 20, lasting up to one hour.- In depth knowledge and constant self up skilling in Microsoft products and services - In store merchandising and brand evangelism During that Christmas period when the demonstrating period resumed, I was tasked as a group leader of a team of in store demonstrators whilst also demonstrating myself. This included:- Being on call to answer question from the field team.- Making sure timesheets/hours were submitted correctly.- Analysing reporting submitted from the field team and writing weekly summaries from the field with breakdowns of feedback and customer interactions.

I began with Market Pulse in late 2013 as an in store Microsoft demonstrator. The role involved visiting various retail outlets and demonstrating primarily Windows 8 tablets, computers and laptops to customers and providing some training to retail sales professionals whilst in store. The position required much in depth knowledge and constant up skilling in the latest in consumer Microsoft products and services.
