Shire/Baxter, (Medical Affairs) • Medical Communications responsibilities include preparation of materials for Congress Symposiums, Ad Boards, Dossiers, Field Medical Slide decks, Congress Summary reports, and preparation and review of product information, claims, disease-state training, speaker decks, and medical presentations • Responsible for 5 therapeutic areas including: Immunology, Transplant, Pulmonology, Hemophilia, and Oncology.• Provide clinical and scientific expertise for : Primary Immune Deficiency (PID), Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN), Alpha- I Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD), Hemophilia A and B, Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), and CMV in Solid Organ Transplant.• Lead medical contact for both commercial and medical material reviews in collaboration with Commercial, Medical, Legal, and Regulatory including: FDA requirements, scientific accuracy of promotional materials within each of the TAs including materials used by medical field liaisons, sales, marketing, and medical professionals. • Provide training for employees as well as scientific and educational materials within these TAs as related to immunology, clinical disease states, and plasma fractionation. • Trained in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
