ConsultantAon Hewitt Apr 2015 - Jul 2017Greater St. Louis AreaAs a Consultant in Aon's Health & Benefits practice (H&B), I work closely with the executive leadership of mid-sized and large commercial clients in the development of their corporate health and welfare programs. I help ensure our recommendations are aligned with the organization's short and long-term strategic objectives. My team is involved in all phases of the planning process including: selecting benefit design, evaluating funding techniques, maintaining state and federal compliance, managing carrier implementations, resolving member claim issues, and creating effective communication campaigns in order to promote the company's corporate Health & Welfare programs. I specialize primarily in the full service Middle-Market and often work on project based assignments such as evaluating network access, discount, and optimization strategies as well as pre and post-implementation program audits. Both examples have the potential to provide significant reduction to an employer's medical spend, improve overall program efficiency, and satisfy fiduciary and due-diligence requirements.Additionally, I work with internal partners to deliver data analytic tools that look at detailed medical and pharmacy claim information and extract top cost-drivers for further analysis. We use the information to better understand the needs of the employer's population and design health plans that are better for cost containment and overall delivery of medical care. -
