[Current title held since April 2009]Responsible for the development and support of numerous in-house tools utilized by the Software Engineering organization from 2005-2009. ASP.NET, WinForms and Web Services using C#. MS SQL databases.• Utilized .Net WF and LINQ to SQL to implement a state machine workflow as the backend for a rewards and recognition tracking web site. Mentored co-op employees during development of the web site and integration with the workflow.• Developed the Test Client, a WinForms Smart Client application, to provide manual test case tracking and execution. The Test Client was a complement to an existing automation Test Framework. It allowed for the integration of manual and automated test case results within the Report Framework (previously manual results were in Quality Center).• Created a prototype using ASP.NET and AJAX to track and report Open Source Software licenses included in released products. Adopted by three organizations as the official tool for managing open source software.• Part of a five member development team responsible for proposing, designing and implementing an automated test execution framework for the Quality Engineering organization (Test Framework). Responsibilities included ASP.NET UI development, web services and database management.• Enhanced and supported the Test Framework (since 2005) which enabled quality engineers to configure and execute automation code and have test results captured for reporting. Recent functionality allowed the Test Framework to automatically retrieve new builds for testing. This feature was configurable for multiple OS platforms reducing the test engineer’s workload for manual environment configuration.• Provided a centralized web portal (Report Framework) and customizable Dashboard allowing users to view current status and historical data for disparate systems.
