A technology start up providing a unique insurance price comparison service for all main UK price comparison sites (incl. Moneysupermarket.com, Confused.com, Comparethemarket.com). In addition developed and supplied online tools to both insurers and intermediaries to optimise their performance in this market.After 5 years of profitable growth Quote Exchange was acquired by Brightside Plc February 2011. At this point I was retained in a consultancy role responsible for new technology and customer projects

In my role at Oxford International I provided a range of IS consultancy, software development and project management services for their blue chip clients in distribution, training & service management sectors.

Designed and developed pricing and prospect management systems reducing operational cost and creating effective channels to market as a result delivering a highly profitable operation. The online systems allowed the quick roll out of new products and insurers to allow IYM to stay ahead of the market and maintain their market differentiation.

Due to recent expansion specifically the acquisition of several high volume facilities management contracts there was a requirement to develop effective processes and systems to support all business functions. This has included such projects aso Asset management & contract costing (lifecycle costs and performance)o Design & Implementation of centre process and support systems to enable efficient 24 hour operation and effective service level managemento Definition and implementation of contract database enabling the automatic identification and invoicing of chargeable work (1500 calls a month)o Definition and Implementation of IT\IS strategy to support company strategy

Brought in to complete 2 stalled critical projects o ERP Integration (following a series of small acquisitions) & o Print Outsourcing (covering 3 operating divisions, 4 document types and in excess of 1 million documents per annum), Both were put back on track enabling them to deliver planned benefits (£150k & £100k per annum). In addition provided business analysis for key customer BAA (T5) supply chain services.

Managed team to deliver EDI, ticketing, supplier management & logistics initiatives, includingo Design, build & implementation of online home delivery system for Beds reducing customer lead times by 2 weeks and removed £4m stock holding.o Roll out of supplier compliance manual incl. external and internal presentations & workshopso Introduced new in store price reduction ticketing label formats & stationary (44 stores)o Introduced new ticketing bureau, supplier and in store formats for use with own label product (reducing ticketing inventory by 30%). In addition reorganised relationship with ticketing bureau to allow greater visibility of operation (by designing and developing online solution) and on site support with day to day operation. o Inbound Supply Chain for Fashion Redesign. Developed and implemented systems for reducing time taken from supplier to shop floor (via a 3PL) by 60% (this equated to a £500k pa increase in contribution).

Interim role to successfully implement 2 key initiatives:o Warehouse Process Redesign. Implemented new process, KPIs & quality systems increasing service levels & reducing operating costs.o Built and implemented systems for vendor managed inventory and customer forecast handling allowing successful targeting of new market segments

Started in UK IT support moving through a series of roles ending up responsible for all IT and change projects throughout group . Led successfuil projects in UK, Sweden, Germany, Holland,Austria and Italy. Projects include ISO2001,ERP rollout, data warehouse build, Euro / Y2k conversion, purchasing and logistics consolidation
