As at 2 May, 2001, B&M consisted of 36 stores, with annualised retail sales of $40m, and achieved a profit in first year of operation.Cashflow positive by month 6, break-even by month 9, repaid shareholder loans by month 18.Overall responsibility for operation, reporting to the Board, lead a team of 15Specific responsibilities for business strategy, supplier relationships, franchise agreements, operational policies, systems development, appointment of franchisees.Created a national network of stores, mostly in secondary markets.Sold new franchises, re-sold existing franchises.
