-Plan and implement circulation policy and procedures for the library systemwide to ensure efficient delivery of public services.-Interpret policies, including authorizing exceptions when needed, to provide guidance to library staff systemwide. -Oversee day-to-day operations of the Main Library Lending department. -Serve as the Passport Program Manager for the Main Library. Oversee Passport application services while ensuring our facility and all Passport Acceptance Agents remain in compliance with standards set by the National Passport Center and the United States Department of State. -Hire, train, evaluate, and motivate both union and non-union staff. Ensures compliance with the collective bargaining agreement in consultation with Human Resources.-Make decisions regarding the selection, transfer, and withdrawal of library materials including monitoring and making recommendations related to the collection development policy.-Assist patrons in finding material and facilitating the use of the Library Catalog.-Recommend staffing, budget, and equipment expenditures.-Manage and reconcile the daily flow of cash through the department in coordination with the Financial Services office.-Work with the security staff and other managers to trace and rectify abuse of Library privileges.-Work with Information Technology staff to resolve and improve issues related to the patron database and user experience.-Assist in planning the annual Library Card Sign-Up Campaign and related activities.-Compile and interpret statistics. Generate monthly and annual reports.-Works with other Library Departments to ensure that facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained, and the environment is safe and conducive to work.

-Supervise the receipt and distribution of new material for the library system.-Manage team of union and non-union employees.-Assess, interview, hire and train new employees.-Oversee the libraries off-site Storage collection. -Volunteer member of various committees and work teams.

-Assisted team daily in preparing large scale batches of product.
