With this speaking opportunity I was able to engage with Washington University students studying and dissecting everything Kanye West. We discussed topics ranging from the sonics of his albums to how he represented himself as one of the most notable black artists of the century. My overall involvement in the Kanye West course was to help create deeper level of understanding on what it means to be a high level black creator in the modern era.
