This role is part of the Wider Academy Leadership Team (WALT) and manages all external partners (Premier League, FA, PFA) and staff that come from these partnerships.The duties and responsibilities of this role fall within 3 main pillars: 1. The purpose of this role is to provide support to a range of Academy coach development initiatives.Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:• Support organisation and delivery of Academy Coach CPD events• Create coach development content to distribute to the Multi-Disciplinary team, Pre-Academy, Academy and first team coaching staff. This includes designing and managing an online coaching platform/ resource, video and podcast editing and production.• Regularly update online coaching forums with relevant thought provoking content that is aligned to the clubs established football philosophy• Research, organise and facilitate study visit opportunities for Academy staff, coordinate and host guests visiting Southampton FC from selected partners, along with various events for guests at Staplewood Campus• Facilitate workshop delivery with key external stakeholders (Hampshire FA, Jersey FA etc.)• Undertake personal CPD and implement personal development time into schedule where appropriate• Complete session observations on Academy coaching staff, sharing data and observation notes to support reflect and development • Coach development administration duties• Develop proficiency in the use of PMA and provide support, where appropriate

The purpose of this role is to coach within the Foundation Phase Programme (U9-U11), ensuring high levels of coaching are delivered, preparing our players for elite professional football at the highest level.Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:• Lead coach of an age group• Plan, deliver and review coaching sessions suitable for EPPP Category 1 Academy• Manage team on a match day, during Premier League, grassroots and international fixtures, competitions and festivals • Maintain PMA, complete and conduct individual player reviews and individual learning plans (ILP’s) for all players • Liaise with performance analyst to create individual and team videos based on clubs KPI’s and players ILP’s• Adopt a player centred, holistic and phase specific approach. The purpose of this role is to coach and develop young players within the club’s Pre-Academy development centre structure and prepare them for elite academy level football in the Foundation Phase.Duties and Responsibilities of this position include: • To coach age groups between the ages of 5 and 10, including individual, small group and full group sessions, implementing a Player Development programme which maximises the opportunities for young players to reach their full potential across all age groups in line with the companies player development plan and philosophy. • Plan, deliver and evaluate coaching sessions in accordance with the pre-academy technical syllabus. • To monitor and assess the players in the development centre in training and in match performances. Preparing and conducting player/parent reviews on a school termly basis • Oversee assistant coaches within the centre, and ensure they deliver the required standard of coaching and behaviour. • Contribute to and take part in a programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) as and when required by the club. • To coach and manage a development centre team age group at inter development centre games and players within the Advanced Development Centre age groups at development game fixtures against other clubs pre-academy teams.• Liase with parents as required to communicate any new information regarding the development centre and it’s programme and meet and greet new families appropriately.• Undertake administrative tasks related to the role

Manage the delivery of existing and future Football Development themed initiatives, including leading on all income generating coaching contracts, ensuring that all delivery is ‘best in class’. Ensure all annual income and participation targets are met and recorded. Line manage Project Officers, Delivery Staff and Casual Coaches, providing mentoring and support, to ensure services delivered are high quality.Duties and Responsibilities include:• Management of a geographical area, including all Football Development Programmes in this area and the line management of staff, ensuring the programme generates the relevant income.• Review and develop all aspects of the Football Development Programme, identifying service gaps and innovative opportunities to develop a high performing coaching programme• Ensure programmes are delivered within the prescribed budget and that project reports and budgets summaries are shared• Mentor and support Project Officers, Delivery Staff and Casual Staff to equip them with the skills and tools required to deliver high quality sessions and programmes, including responsibility for all appraisals.• Lead on quality assurance, including monitoring coach performance and development to ensure all coaches are working towards a coaching framework at local, regional and international venues• Develop Continuous Professional Development (CPD) opportunities to educate all staff in talent identification and the most current coaching methods, including coordinating the delivery of workshops with external organisations and National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications• Build relationships with partners, NGB’s and local authorities• Produce effective marketing literature and promotional materials• Ensure all contracts, SLAs, bookings and office duties are effectively managed• Implement a robust recruitment process for all new staff members• Liaison with Pre-Academy, Regional Talent Club and Academy to develop a player progression programme

Carry out additional roles and responsibilities as directed by the Football Development Manager.Duties and Responsibilities of this position include:• Project manage the Premier League Women and Girls’ football programme.• Operate as the Head Coach within all Football Development Programmes (FDP).• Plan and deliver football and multi-sport sessions to participants of different gender, ages and abilities during curriculum and extra-curricular sessions.• Develop partnerships with grassroots football clubs, leading sessions and developing coaching curriculums to complement clubs philosophies. • Coordinating part time coach’s timetables and arranging cover for sessions.• Mentor part time coaches delivering session within the various programmes offered by the FDP, leading by example at all times.• Interact with parents / school representatives in a polite, courteous and professional manner.• Assisting with admin/office duties as and when required.
