Manages the implementation of VDER/Value Stack CDG automated billing.Provides leadership on various programs, projects, and RFPs for Billing initiatives.Coordinates efforts of cross-functional project teams and across operating companies. Delivers on-strategy, on-brand, on-time, on-budget results.

• Support Distributed Energy Resources (DER) who participate in Community Distributed Generation (CDG) to ensure procedural requirements are completed and projects are setup timely and seamless• Collaborate with other Utilities and DERs in order to work towards efficiently meeting the ambitious NYS energy goals • Educate DERs of NYSEG and RG&E tariff policies and procedures for both Volumetric and Value Stack (VDER) projects

• Purchase, sell and schedule natural gas as well as entering millions of dollars worth of transactions in billing system for the information to flow into SAP• Generate financial hedging plan and execute activities to mitigate price volatility and risk for customers• Optimize storage injections, withdrawals and transports to maximize value for customers• Lead RFQ process using cost analysis that results in five month winter deals with multiple counterparties to ensure a reliable and diversified portfolio • Monitor changes to weather forecasts, pipeline restrictions and make necessary adjustments to gas supply requirements • Assist with after hours and weekend coverage for NYSEG and RG&E regarding gas purchases, sales, pipeline restrictions and system supply needs

Support the purchase and sale of electricity for the company to meet customer requirements in a least cost and reliable manner Observe weather conditions and generator availability that may impact the company's financial position and subsequent load bidding strategies
